The Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence is based on Fagerstrom Tolerance Questionnaire, which was created by Karl-Olov Fagerstrom in 1978. The questionnaire was modified in 1991 when the revised version – the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence – was presented.
